Hidden Markov Models for time series

Hidden Markov Models provide a flexible class of general-purpose models for time series (and longitudinal data). They are used in a wide range of applications, including speech recognition, analysis of biological sequences, and also more recently in ecology, specifically for modelling animal movements.

Find out more about these models HERE in a seminar presented by Iain MacDonald.
